News Sources at PBA

The PBA Library has a variety of sources available to help met your current information needs. Every weekday, copies of local newspapers such as the Palm Beach Post and Miami Herald, are displayed in the Reference area. The latest New York Times is online. Specialized news is available too, such as the daily Wall Street Journal.  Online resources allow sophisticated searching, or you can just browse.  Our ProQuest NewsStand subscription  includes almost 300 national newspapers. And LexisNexis Academic carries over 250 papers. Descriptions of 14 well-known titles are found here:

Everything in the Monitor is international and US-national news and features, except for one religious article that has appeared each day in the Home Forum section since 1908, at the request of the paper's founder, Mary Baker Eddy. Unlike most of the US metro dailies, the Monitor does not rely on wire services, like AP and Reuter, for its international coverage, but maintains bureaus in 13 countries, including Russia, Japan, Germany, France, the UK, South Africa, and Mexico, as well as throughout the US.
